Jenny started her career in 2013 at MNP LLP in the Assurance practice primarily working on private company audits. In 2016, Jenny joined the Valuation and Litigation practice where she gained considerable experience in business valuations, damage quantification and business interruptions. Jenny has completed business valuations for the context of family law, estate planning, tax reorganizations, shareholder disputes, and merger/acquisition transactions. Her experience spans a range of industries, including pharmacies, car dealerships, professional practices, real estate, retail, construction, manufacturing, and agriculture.

Jenny moved from public practice to industry in 2020 and worked for Rubicon Pharmacies which subsequently became Neighbourly Pharmacy. In this role, Jenny gained experience in purchase price allocations, intangible asset valuations, and testing goodwill for impairment. Jenny also participated in driving the performance of newly acquired pharmacies as well as 100 pharmacy locations across Western Canada.

Jenny completed a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with a major in accounting at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business. Jenny obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2016 and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Manitoba. Jenny achieved her Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation in 2020 and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CBV Institute).

Jenny is passionate about giving back to her community and her profession. She co-chaired her workplace United Way campaign where she was awarded the Employee Campaign Chair award as well as the Employee Excellence award. In 2020, she volunteered for the Accounting for Bravery program and prepared personal tax returns free of charge for frontline health workers in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. She has served as Treasurer on the International Music Camp’s board of directors from 2016 to 2020.
